Lela Hasian McGregor
She is currently the Director of Programming & Events for CI – a not-for-profit arts organisation providing quality cultural programmes and shows to over 10,000 schools throughout Australia. Her immense professional experience includes creative direction, management, production and teaching across Asia and Australia. Lela also enjoys a successful career in her boutique marketing,events and communications consulting practice.Born in Indonesia and coming from a very musical family, Lela moved to Melbourne at a young age. Seeing the current market gap of local, quality and educational children’s theatre, Lela was inspired to write the script and music for The Balinese Princess and The Funky Monkey.
Craig has composed and performed extensively since graduating from the Victorian College of Arts in 1992, where he studied both classical and jazz performance. He now provides original music for stage and screen, both in Australia and internationally. Combining his skills in traditional notation and arranging using the latest technology, Craig uses his broad palette to produce music, which is truly rich and diverse. Craig has recently composed the music for feature films such as, You and Your Stupid Mate (2007), The Garth Method (2004), Let’s Get Skase (2001).Working closely with Lela, Craig has created beautiful orchestrations and music score for The Balinese Princess & The Funky Monkey.
Flic Manning holds a Bachelor in Communication and Cultural Studies with a Major in Performance and Performance Arts. She is a talented and versatile performer and choreographer trained in Musical Theatre, Jazz, Classical Ballet, Latin and Broadway Jazz. She has worked on various musicals for stage with the latest being Burlesque Through the Eyes of Monksy Malone. She has also collaborated on the Hurricane 2010: Music Video and Documentary and the short film Honey Pot.
Luke Stokes is a young and innovative Melbourne designer, working in the mediums of set, event and exhibition design as well as within the built environment of retail, hospitality and residential architectural design. His unique and creative approach creates an exciting and engaging environment for both users and audiences alike. All works produced are site and project specific, seeking its own sense of exploration and play within the narrative of design. His recent endeavours include working alongside Peter Corrigan for Three Penny Opera at Malthouse Theatre and designing for You’re Not the Boss of Me at La Mama Carlton, which in 2009 was nominated for the prestigious Green Room Award for Best Set Design in Independent Theatre.
Laura is a youthful and exciting Melbourne based theatrical costume designer. Her fresh approach to the industry has brought fun and drama to many of her projects. Most recently Laura assisted in the wardrobe design for the Silverchair music video clip, created original mascot characters for Victorian Landcare and developed thematic costumes for multiple productions. Laura is a graduate of the Swinburne University of Technology Arts School and holds a Diploma in Costume Design. Her costume work for The Balinese Princess & Funky Monkey with dazzle and delight.
Make-Up and Hair Design
From the Internationally recognised Academy of Makeup, Jen Clements brings creativity, talent, professionalism, passion and a big smile to every makeup and hair styling job. As a hard working perfectionist she is asked back time and time again by those who hire her. Her skills include bridal, fashion, photographic, theatrical, airbrush and special effects makeup; and her experience spans from catwalk shows, theatre productions, photo shoots and music videos right through to client makeup.

Jade Dewi Tyas Tunggal
Jade Dewi Tyas Tunggal is a prolific Javanese/Australian freelance dance artist and Chreographer. She has worked with Mirramu Dance Company, Houlihan & Dancers, The Body Cartography Project, Chunky Move, Gongtronic and Victoria Opera. Her Choreography has been presented in Australia, USA, TAiwan, NZ and Indonesia. Recent works include Diaspora (Spark Mentorship), Gongtronic (Sydney Opera House) and Longing Belonging Land at Birrarung Marr (MIFA)
Balinese Music Consultant
Dr Made Mantle Hood
Dr . Made Mantle Hood is a respected expert in Ethomusicology. He lectures at the esteemed Performing Arts Department at Clayton, Monash University. His interests include music diversity;music and philosophy/religion/healing;media and performance in Southeast Asia; applied ethnomusicology; traditional and contemporary Javanese/Balinese gamelan performance.
